In addition to providing a general adult and paediatric ENT service, Mr. Clark has a special interest in conditions that affect the ear. This includes the management of chronic middle ear disease (cholesteatoma, ear drum perforations, infections), hearing loss (children and adults), vertigo (dizziness related to the inner ear, including Ménière’s disease & BPPV), tinnitus & Eustachian tube dysfunction. In addition to performing a full range of ENT procedures, Mr. Clark specialises in ear surgery including that for chronic middle ear disease (tympanoplasty, mastoidectomy, including revision procedures and laser-assisted surgery), hearing loss (ossiculoplasty, bone anchored hearing aids), ear drum perforations (myringoplasty) & conditions of the ear canal and external ear (canalplasty, prominent ear surgery, skin lesion excisions).

Mr Clark studied medicine at University College London where he also attained a degree in Anatomy. His specialist training in Otolaryngology was in Oxford, followed by a year’s fellowship in Otology & Neurotology at the University of British Columbia, Vancouver, Canada. Mr Clark is widely published within his field and acts both as a peer reviewer for key journals in this topic as well as being a member of the expert panel for ENT-UK, the national association for this branch of surgery. He is the Specialty tutor and departmental lead for training at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital. He contributes to National Otology audits and teaches on ear surgery courses both in the UK and as a volunteer in Uganda.
